I thrive in cross-cultural settings, meeting people and helping others through Massage Therapy. I speak Spanish, English and Dutch. My husband is from Japan. I lived in the Netherlands, Scotland, South Africa, and South America. I moved to the The Woodlands, TX, in 2007.
While living in Scotland I completed a two-year reflexology degree. Along with anatomy, physiology, kinesiology and pathology, I also studied Shiatsu, aromatherapy and nutrition. I also hold a Masters Degree in Education.
In order to become a licensed Massage Therapist in the US, I completed the Massage Therapy Program at Lone Star College. I graduated Suma Cum Laude and was a member of Phi Theta Kappa.
I am also licensed in Medical Massage and completed studies in Sports Massage for athletes in The Netherlands. After becoming licensed as a Corrective Exercise Specialist I am able to help my clients get stronger and work on posture and moving painfree. The last three years I have had the opportunity to be a personal therapist for a competitor in the World Championships in Rowing in The Netherlands, Slovenia and Hungary.
In 2019 I started focusing is on learning Neuro Kinetic Therapy, Rekindle Myoskeletal Therapy and ALWAYS Postural Awareness as we move and with God's help Reach Beyond !
2020 helped me to get better vision into the importance of nutrition and building a healthy immune system. From then on I was trained to become a coach. As your coach I am willing, ready & able to help you to develop new habits and make healthy decisions that lead to lifelong transformation.
